Re-chair powered by illy è la prima sedia nata dalle cialde di scarto di caffè post industriale e prodotta da kartellre-chair powered by illy è frutto di un continuo processo di ricerca che kartell sviluppa attraverso i materiali e l'innovazione tecnologicare-chair, infatti è stata progettata da antonio citterio con materiale riciclato, e adesso è divenuta special ambassador del progetto powered illy caffèsimbolo di questo progetto una sedia che già nel nome è vocata ad essere oggetto di sperimentazione sul riciclatoimpilabile fino a 6 sedie, è possibile utilizzarla anche all'esternole due aziende collaborano in un'ottica di economia circolare, dalla qualità di un prodotto industriale di largo consumo come le cialde di caffè nasce un progetto industriale che genera bellezza e si fonda esso stesso sulla qualità con illy, importante azienda italiana produttrice di caffè, crea con un percorso di rigenerazione del materiale delle cialde che viene macinato e riportato a granulo, riconsegnando la materia prima seconda, ovvero una nuova vita del materiale che può cosi essere iniettato nello stampo kartell e generare un prodotto di design
